Gates:

Because people are at different places in their life journey, separate entry points lead to differing streams of content focus.

So the differing Gates move into what is likely more appropriate material to begin with, to go on from where you are now.

You can always go back to check out what is within the other Gates, to broaden your scope & deepen your understanding.

From our point of view, it would be great if everyone wanted to know God right away at the outset.

  • So if you want this fast track, Gate 1 is the entry point.

However, many hesitate, wanting to be careful, for there are many voices clamoring for their attention all claiming to be true, but which are often traps, as most people have learned the hard way.

So to be safe is good - if you are in a safe place & can negotiate your life's route without falling into any of its many traps.

Now, I want to encourage you that Gate 1 is the best & safest place to go, dear person:

     1. God created the universe & you too (via your parents).

     2. Everyone will give an account to God concerning how they lived.

     3. Yet people generally grow up without God as an active part of their lives; God may seem distant or not even in their conscious existence.

     4. The Bible says that our current state of affairs, which is not all that great to say the least, is basically due to humanity's rejection of God.

     5. God opened the possibility of returning to a proper relationship of love with Him, because He paid the price we owe - if we accept it as truly necessary & sufficient.

     6. The key issue is whether I/you accept what God has done for me/you or not: Yeshua said: "I am the Good Shepherd who lays his life down for the sheep....I am The Way, The Truth, & The Life, no one comes to God the Father, except through Me."

     7. If you acknowledge Yeshua's sacrifice of his life for you to be reconciled to God, then you are already at Gate 1, the goal which all other Gates hope to arrive at.

Others of you have some serious roadblocks, doubts, & objections, given your prior beliefs, however it is that you came to have them:

a. Jewish people: 1. who have suffered persecution by some who claimed to be followers of Yeshua (but by their actions did what was against his teaching and example);

                         2. who reject that Yeshua was the Messiah because of what they have been led to believe concerning the Messiah (but not what the Tanach teaches).

b. Muslims: 1. who reject the Jewish Tanach & New Covenant testimony about the Messiah (Issa) & God etc.

c. Hindus, Buddhists, or Shintoists: 1. who may not understand why Yeshua's death is essential to connect properly with God.

d. Another belief: 1. many gods or nature spirits, one of which may be chief (paganism); 2. Nature & God are more or less on a continuum (Pantheism-Panentheism).

e. Nature Belief: 1. The Universe(s) is Ultimate (whether eternal or temporal, arising from a net "0" energy); 2. that I am/we are or humanity is (free of all other false beliefs) self-sufficient & authoritative, rather than that there is an ultimate God to pay any attention to.

To be a full description, one would list an extensive series of other beliefs, even for the various "Christian" views often based on various degrees of emphasis or denial of Biblical ideas. However, to simplify the task ahead, the above list covers most of the main positional belief systems.

However, if these would take the Bible seriously for what it says, not just through the lens of tradition or opinion, they would come into line with its sufficiently clear teachings. Other problematic matters may be answered (hopefully well enough) in the material found within the other gates.

Gate 2: for a.1 & a.2 Jewish people who are sure that a traditional Jewish position (Tanach via Rabbinic Interpretation) is true or also better than any other.

Gate 3: for b.1 Muslim people who are sure that the traditional Islamic position (Koran & Hadith) is true.

Gate 4: for c & d.1, d.2 Many groups that have their own long traditions and ideas about existence.

Gate 5: for e.1 & e.2 Atheist or Agnostic claims about everything.

Gates 2-5 are of various lengths with arguments & evidence that may be convincing, all depending on how sure & committed one is of one's own position.

The intent is to show that on specific & common grounds, there needs to be a correction that will lead one to Gate 1.

Of course, one living in world 2-5 (prior to those Gates) can claim that the default position 1 is a failure or needs correction & should re-position itself under its wings.

Now it ought to be clear that these Worldviews differ radically, despite varying degrees of overlap and somewhat similar ideas.

Yet, given those basic differences, only one ultimate Worldview is comprehensive and consistent with all the issues & facts of existence, while the others are not in some critical points, which will be shown as clearly as possible.

God as Creator, Sustainer, Judge-Redeemer is a larger (largest) position (1) than any other, with far greater negative & positive consequences.

The person who really wants to know God will find out; while the person that insists on objecting because God is deemed to be a threat to their position or problematic in their eyes may not discover the truth (beyond their own lights).

The supposedly minimal belief (5) is based on a peculiar idea of nothing that requires some things to be very special to make it work, & cannot account for many things adequately, despite many brilliant attempts.

Anyway, to find out how we consider these issues, are you ready to go on & check us out?
